Speaker

Associate Professor Aswin Ratheesh is a psychiatrist and the James Packer Chair in Mood Disorders. As an Associate Professor at the University of New South Wales (UNSW) he leads a program of clinical research involving prediction and intervention development in youth mood disorders. As a psychiatrist, Associate Professor Ratheesh has worked across tertiary and primary care settings, predominantly in youth mental health. He has led clinical programs in early psychosis and mood disorders. At UNSW Sydney, his role also extends to the Mindgardens Neuroscience Network and its key partners, the BlackDog Institute and the South East Sydney Local Health District (SESLHD).

Associate Professor Ratheesh is co-lead of the Early Intervention Taskforce within the International Society of Bipolar Disorders, and is an Associate Editor for the Australian and New Zealand Journal of Psychiatry.
